A community of faith rooted in scripture, committed to inclusion, and dedicated to making a lasting impact in North Little Rock and beyond.
Empowering individuals with a spirit of excellence and empathy, exemplifying faithful stewardship of God's blessings while endeavoring to uplift communities.
Inclusion is at the heart of what we do — embracing the uniqueness of everyone and honoring the diverse backgrounds and perspectives of all who enter.
To glorify God by building a vibrant community where individuals encounter Jesus, grow spiritually, and are equipped to serve others with love and compassion.
It all started as a vision between Ealgie Gilbert and Arther Fulson, who felt led to hold a gospel meeting in the Dixie Community. In August 1961, without a building to their name, they set up a tent — and that single meeting led 18 souls to Christ.
Previously known as the Airport Church of Christ (the "Purple Church") in Sherwood, AR, the congregation was renamed Central Rock Church in 2016. In 2023, a permanent home was secured at 1505 W. 18th Street in North Little Rock.
The church has been shaped by faithful ministers: Thaddaus Propps, Thomas Hartaway, Willie Ray Hill, Christopher Fifer, and continues to move to higher ground today.
Whether you're visiting for the first time or a long-time member, we have something for you.
